Healers help humans utilize their meat suits to cultivate their own divinity. Healers are conduits. The medicine healers practice necessarily comes through their own human bodies, because medicine is deeply human.
For Well Collab Acupuncture, that means the medicine I practice is rooted in the Traditional Chinese Medicine I professionally trained in. But it also means where I come from: I have deep roots in the pagan Greek ritual of xematiasma, aka getting rid of the evil eye, and energy and spiritual medicine informing our physical bodies has always been a part of the ethos of my lineage.

holding on vs letting go
Using your meat suit to cultivate your divinity.
The ruse of the ego getting in the way of the real work that needs to be done.
Perfection isn’t of this earthly world. Self-worth is actually the embracing and embodiment of our human imperfection. And the concept of perfection and the ability for humans to get tricked into thinking they can attain perfection is a ruse of the ego, which feels godlike sometimes. So it’s an acknowledgment that a higher power exists — that what you feel in you, what connects all of us, is Shen and when Shen manifests through humans, it’s necessarily imperfect. We cultivate that Shen in our bodies. Embodiment is the human way of cultivating that spirituality. We need to use the meat suit, the thing we are in with an expiration date, because the alchemy that comes from it helps us to level up.
Metal can be melted down and reformed: this is a virtue.
“Healthy moisture in the lungs and large intestine forms the interface between our internal and external world.” This is why dryness is the “weather pattern” that affects the metal element so much: without the proper amount of moisture, you risk your sense of self.
Water is the alchemical element that the metal element uses as a tool to derive value from experiences and have the ability to then discard (exhale, poop out) the rest.
this is where we level up: when you go to seed in the fall, are you going to level up or do you need to revisit the level you just completed because you really didn’t understand the assignment?
