Well Collab’s

Story

Well Collab Acupuncture started in Tarrytown in 2016 as Acupuncture of Tarrytown.

We grew out of two acupuncture grad school roommates who figured, if we could live in a Brooklyn railroad apartment together, we could definitely own a business together.

Over a decade into what Well Collab has become and things have certainly changed, but the core tenet of why the business started remains the same:

together, we can do so much more.

What began as a passion project has evolved into a community pillar. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Meet the Team

Behind everything we do is a team of people who truly care. We bring our full selves to the table—open-minded, collaborative, and ready to make something great.

A woman with short curly hair and tattoos on her arm stands against a wooden fence, holding a tall, white branch with black spots, wearing a pink top, a colorful pleated maxi skirt, and black boots.

Person giving a medical or therapeutic treatment to another person lying on a bed or examination table, with a focus on their hands.

A person performing CPR on another individual lying on the ground, with their hands interlocked and pressing on the chest. The scene appears to be in a clinical or training setting.

2016-2020

Core Acupuncture of Tarrytown: Chryssa Tsakiris and Erikka Lundgren start the business, each have a baby (9 months apart, almost to the day 👀)

First office on White Plains Rd in Tarrytown, with 4 treatment rooms and a midweek evening meditation schedule.

Even pre-pandemic and appreciating continuing a business as new mothers, we still were looking to pare down the space slightly. And timing worked, because 2020 brought some global surprises.

2021-2025

Erikka moves to be close to family during the pandemic; Chryssa continues the business as a solo owner in what is now the smaller, more efficient Sleepy Hollow office, conveniently located on Route 9 across from the SH/TT high school. Feminist Facials are born and take off — results are undeniable! Mark joins as a part time acupuncturist and Chryssa continues to use her Mars in Aquarius to bring a vision to life where community meets acupuncture meets whole body and brain wellness.

2026 and what comes after

Well Collab Acupuncture officially consolidates into one location: Main Street in Ossining. Public Acupuncture grows as a service option and Facial Re:Cognition expands as an entire service menu for Facial Acupuncture as it relates to cognition (and yes, aesthetics: did we mention that the results are undeniable??). The larger space allows for groups: Face Forward Facial Gua Sha Classes, Write Here New Moon Writing Groups, Be Hear Soundbath and Acupuncture sessions.

Our work is split into four main arms

(very partial octopus-like)

Private Acupuncture

Traditional, one-person-per-room type treatments.

Here, we also have options for TCM-informed coaching and lengthier intakes.

We offer 45 and 90 minute options, depending on your needs.

Cupping, moxa, and tui na may also be included in your appointment.

Facial Re:Cognition

It all starts with the brain.

The more movement we have, the more alive we are.

Aesthetics are prioritized for faces, and believe us, we get those results. But our work goes so much deeper than smile lines.

Facial Re:Cognition encompasses facial acupuncture (The Feminist Facial and Brain Drain™), group facial classes (both gua sha and exercise), and our upcoming online course, Foundations.

Public Acupuncture

Humans are built to co-regulate.

Our small-group acupuncture classes are unlike any community acupuncture you might have experienced before.

We run groups 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday.

9:30am and 12pm are mainstays.

Evenings are available Mondays and Wednesdays on a rolling basis from 6pm to 8:30pm.

Pre-booking is required.

After Hours Groups

Virtual and in person group events.

It’s not just about acupuncture: what we do here goes beyond Chinese Medicine. Medicine itself happens when people gather.

That’s why we have Be Hear Soundbaths, both with and without acupuncture. But we also have Write Here: completely unrelated to acupuncture. Face Forward Gua Sha Classes are entirely about you learning the terrain of your face, surrounded by others doing the same thing.
