In 101, we focus on the whole face: proper technique, each area of the face, rhythm, routine, and ritual.
In 201, we dive deeper into each area, with a more anatomical focus.
We started the series with the neck, because we always start facial gua sha from the bottom up. In May we focused on the jaw, which means that this month, the focus is on the cheeks. You’ll learn muscle names and functions and how they interact with pain and stress and how we can use that information to guide us into relaxation and embodiment.
